It started with a cluck.
Sarah Gessler, mid-speech, had let out a loud squawk that echoed around the crowded auditorium.
“W-wait, I meant to say-AWK! BUH-GAWK!” The attractive girl’s head jerked as she echoed her first cry with another; then another.
Her opponent, Mary Sahn, simply smiled. Up until now, she’d been on the verge of losing to Sarah, their debate utterly one-sided. But now none of that mattered. Sarah had contracted the Transformation Flu, and a particularly nasty strain at that.

There was some tensity in the air as the three agents stepped into the teleporter. Crest and Jack were nervous, but Canice seemed confident enough. When Jack asked where they were going for this mission, Canice said that they'd be receiving orders once arriving out of the teleporter. Jack was confused by this, and Canice just shrugged and said she didn't know either. "They didn't hire us to ask questions."
Crest, meanwhile, was just excited to finally get a job to do. She had called her parents every night to express her joy that she actually got to go on a mission, to the point that it was getting overbearing
